Following the Community Guidelines and using Bizfluence's features properly will help you get the most out of the platform, making it a win-win situation.
Fill out your Profile to help others help you. You’ll make connections immediately.
Use clear, concise language about yourself and your business. It's a must to include a head-shot (not a logo) and your location.
The second tab at the top of the "Edit Profile" module is for your social and email info.
Check out the Bizfluence Networks and join as many as are applicable to your field of work or are of interest to you. You will want to balance your posting between your Networks and the Main Feed.
Post in the Networks to establish yourself as an expert in your field. Potential customers/clients will search the Networks to see who they should hire or work with.
3 Ways to Access Networks:
Click the green “Networks” button on the left. Any networks you have joined appear in the center of the screen. Scroll down toward the bottom of the list and you’ll see “All Networks.” To join a Network, click the Network icon and click the green “Join Network” button on the right. Click it again to leave the network.
b. Mobile: Follow the same instructions as on desktop, except instead of the green button to access the Networks, click the grey “Home Menu” button.
c. Bizfluence Dashboard (Desktop only)
Access your personal Bizfluence Dashboard on the green banner at the top of the screen next to the Community Guidelines. Sign in with your Bizfluence credentials. Click the purple “sign-in” button (hitting “enter” won’t work).
You will see all the Networks and useful information, along with the option to join or leave each network. On the left, you will see your Affiliate Center along with who and how many people have joined Bizfluence on your behalf, as well as how close you are to receiving an Ambassador Badge and merchandise. You can get your personal “Affiliate Link” to use to invite new users at the green “Help Us Build Bizfluence” module.
Everyone is automatically entered in some general Networks:

Bizfluence Cafe - This is the online “Watercooler.”

a. Choose a "Network" - Networks are for industry-specific content. (The Inspiration & Motivation Network and the Bizfluence Cafe’ Network are the only places on Bizfluence where lighter content can be posted. All other Networks are for business only).
b. Add applicable “Interest Tags,” if you wish. Click "Add Interests" in the Post Box and begin typing in the pop-up window.
Interest tags are optional when posting within a Network, but are required if posting directly in the Main Feed, so other Bizfluencers can see the subject of the post's content at a glance.
(Add a maximum of two tags. Interest Tags are used instead of hashtags. Hashtags are not clickable on Bizfluence and add no value to a post).
c. Write your post.
d. Double check that your end result is best suited for the Network and Interests you chose.
e. Enjoy all the great feedback you'll get from a laser-focused post.
f. If you choose to post directly into the Main Feed (not in a Network), you must choose Interest Tags. The Main Feed is for professional content that does not fit into an existing Network and that is general enough that it would be of interest to most people. (New Networks are added as needed). Remember, Interest Tags are required when posting directly in the Main Feed, so Bizfluencers can see the subject of the post's content at a glance, prior to reading the post.
